Hello all,
Today I would like to share some of my recent works on VNAF subject.  My plan is to illustrate every single aircraft used by the VNAF during the Vietnam war...So here are a few.

Thanks Limadefois for the warm welcome and I'm really glad to be back.
Anyway, for the markings on this Skyraider, this is the elite Squadron 83rd SAG (Special Air Group) or SOG (Special Operation Group) led by Gen Nguyen Cao Ky based at Tan-Son-Nhut airbase in the mid 60s.  The blue emblem on the fuselage is the Squadron badge called Than-Phong meaning Devine Wind.  These Skyraiders didn't wear the typical VNAF insignias but with some individual markings such as the character on the cowling, these character were adopted from a Chinese play card and the meaning of the one on this illustration is "The Best"

As an Indochina and VNAF lover since years, I find this subject of great interest. Clearly, the planes already proposed here are of great interest as somewhat forgotten in the histories of published VNAF. It is said that ex-French AF pilots had flown Skyraiders in the past...

In the past I have produced some plastic kits of VNAF planes as Skyraiders, B-57 etc. and paintings (Skyraiders, UH-1 etc.).
